Jeffrey P. Levine

Jeff Levine is a Partner in the Firm’s New York office, focusing on mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, joint ventures and as other corporate transactions. Jeff regularly advises private equity firms and public and private companies. He advises on matters in sectors ranging from infrastructure and technology to consumer products and media and entertainment, among others. His clients have included Stonepeak, EQT, KKR, SunPower, GTCR, Blackstone, Silver Lake, New Mountain Capital, American Family Insurance and Best Buy.

Jeff’s recent representations include:

• Stonepeak in its acquisition of Textainer Group in a $7.4 billion transaction
• EQT Infrastructure in its acquisition of Madison Energy Investments
• KKR in various transactions, including its acquisition of Simon & Schuster from Paramount Global for an aggregate purchase price of $1.62 billion, its acquisition of OverDrive and its acquisition of BMC Software
• Special Committee of the Board of Directors of SunPower in connection with the sale of its Commercial and Industrial Solutions business to TotalEnergies
• GTCR in connection with its investment in Gogo
• American Electric Power in connection with its sale of four power plants to Blackstone and ArcLight in a $2.17 billion transaction
• Blackstone in various transactions, including its acquisition of The Chamberlain Group and its significant investment in Simpli.fi
• Silver Lake in its strategic investment in Relativity
• American Family Insurance in its acquisition of Bold Penguin
• New Mountain Capital in its acquisition of Natrol
• BMC in its acquisition of Compuware
• The Special Committee of the Board of Directors of Speedway Motorsports in its acquisition by its majority shareholder, Sonic Financial Corporation
