Warburg Pincus to Invest in Edelman Financial Engines

Simpson Thacher is advising Edelman Financial Engines in connection with the announced strategic investment from Warburg Pincus, a leading global private equity firm, which will become a minority equity owner. Hellman & Friedman will remain the majority shareholder. The terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
