Simpson Thacher hosted its 2021 Healthcare Perspectives Event virtually on January 7. The webinar, which was held ahead of JPMorgan’s annual healthcare conference, included a panel discussion on the impact of COVID-19 on investments, collaboration and regulation in the biotechnology, pharmaceutical and therapeutics spaces, featuring Stephanie Read, VP of Strategy & Business Development at CSL (CSL: ASX), and Ali Satvat, Co-Head of the Health Care Industry team and Global Head of Health Care Strategic Growth at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. The event concluded with a fireside chat featuring Jon Rousseau, President and CEO at BrightSpring Health Services, focused on home health, telehealth and developments in other non-traditional healthcare solutions.
